Valiant Cross Academy has been on quite the journey of being, “A Beacon Of Hope On Dexter Avenue”. Years of commitment, determination, and perseverence have all come to fruition for the academy in December 2023. Co-founder and Head of School, Anthony Brock, says, “Our goal was to prepare young men of color to become great husbands, exceptional fathers, and eventually leaders in their communities. My brother Fred and I felt that love, discipline, and a commitment to high standards were essential to addressing the apparent problems that young men across the country are facing and that every student could succeed regardless of their circumstances.” Valiant Cross Academy is on a mission to change the outcomes of the young men of color, one scholar at a time.
