We believe that the way a person dresses reflects the way they think and feel about themselves. At Valiant Cross Academy, our scholar’s appearance communicates many things about our school to the community and establishes our reputation as an outstanding school with excellent scholars. All students must wholeheartedly support the dress code.
*BLACK OR BROWN BELTS SHOULD BE WORN AT ALL TIMES*
*SHIRTS MUST BE TUCKED INTO PANTS AT ALL TIMES*
*NO COATS OR JACKETS* (Without School Logo) May be worn after arriving at school.
Hats/Hair Coverings: Scholars may not wear hats, handkerchiefs, bandanas, scarves, or other head coverings. Exceptions can be made for religious and/or medical reasons.
Hair: Hair should be neat and well-kept (clean, combed/brushed). It should have a uniform look. It is not acceptable for scholars to have designs, figures, and signs cut into their hair, or to color or twist their hair.
Jewelry: Scholars may not wear earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets or other jewelry to school unless medically related.
General Neatness: Clothes should be clean and free of excessive wrinkles, oxford shirt should be buttoned to the top and tucked in at all times, shoelaces should be tied at all times, and tie should be tied.
